Bangalore: A mosque-like dome at a bus stop in Karnataka's Mysuru suddenly disappeared on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday (November 26). BJP MP Pratap Simha had threatened to demolish the domes. He had said that the two domes adjacent to the main dome at the bus stand look like a mosque. A time frame has been set for action in the matter. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has sent a notice to the authorities to explain the matter. Speaking on the matter, Ramdas said, "The bus stop should not be in dispute. I have constructed 12 bus stops as a model palace in Mysuru. But, it was given a communal color and it has hurt me. After taking the opinion of seniors, I demolished two small domes and allowed the big dome to remain.'' At the same time, Congress MLA Tanveer had threatened that he would not allow the two domes to be demolished under any circumstances. After the sudden disappearance of the domes, Pratap Simha wrote in a tweet, 'If there is a big dome in the middle and two small domes next to each other, then it is a mosque.' Simha had further said, 'Thank you to the district collector who asked for time and spoke. Thanks also to Ramdas Ji who understood the reality and succumbed to the referendum.'
