New Delhi: It's a done deal! A phone with 240W fast charging will be available soon. It will be a Realme product, possibly the GT Neo 5 which will be released soon. On January 5, 2023, the company is about to introduce its latest flash-charging advancement. The 144Hz screen and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor are additional features of the GT Neo 5. Realme unveiled the GT Neo 3 earlier this year, which was the first phone with 150W fast-charging. It is well appreciated by the customers all over the world. Tipster Ice Universe recently released images of Realme's 240W charging head and claimed that the GT Neo 5 will include it. The realme GT Neo 5 is expected to come with an under-display optical fingerprint reader, slim and symmetrical bezels, top-centred punch-hole cut-out, and a plastic body. It will feature a redesigned full-width camera module at the back. The device may feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1240x2772 pixels) AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The specifications of the front-facing camera and secondary lens are currently unknown. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is expected to be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, could power the Realme GT Neo 5. Realme UI 4.0 for Android 13 will launch on the device. It is expected to come with two different battery sizes: a 5,000mAh model that supports 150W fast charging and a 4,600mAh model that supports 240W flash charging. For comparison, the GT Neo 3 had a starting price of Rs. 36,999. When the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition arrives, it will compete with the GT Neo 5.
