Lucknow: A teenage girl was gang-raped in Delhi's Pratapgarh district, police said on Saturday. An FIR has been registered against three accused, including two unidentified, in the case, a police official said on Saturday (September 24). According to Additional Superintendent of Police (East) Vidyasagar Mishra, the 17-year-old minor from the Fatanpur police station area had left her home at 10 am on Friday and the youth took her near Ganjehra forest on the Prayagraj-Ayodhya highway under Delhupur police station area, where two more of her accomplices came. Mishra has said that the three youths took the teenager to the forest and gang-raped her. According to Mishra, the victim was found unconscious near the forest on Friday evening. On getting information about the matter, the police got the victim admitted to the medical college. Mishra has informed that the victim, after regaining consciousness, gave information about the incident of gang rape in her statement. He has said that on the complaint of the victim, the police have started an investigation by registering an FIR against Shivam Saroj and two unknown accused under relevant sections of IPC. According to Mishra, the police are interrogating some people in the case by taking them into custody.
