Jamshedpur: Ganesh Purti (17), a resident of Parsudih College Road in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, committed suicide by being hit by a goods train near Govindpur Gadda on Monday morning. Police sent the body to MGM Medical College for post-mortem. According to the news received, the deceased was an inter-student in Shyama Prasad College and the only brother of 8 sisters. His mother, Somwari Purti, runs a public distribution system shop on Mondays. Monday told police that the son had been missing since around 10 pm on Sunday. The mother has not explained the reason for the suicide. According to the news, Ganesh was the only son of the house. The condition of his eight sisters is also bad crying. On the statement of the mother, a case has been registered under UD at Parsudih police station and the police are also questioning other persons on the reasons for Ganesh Purti's death. The police had received information about the body on the line near Gadda from the people who went for a walk in the morning. Later, the persons gathered at the spot identified the deceased as Ganesh Purti. Police are trying to find out the reason behind the death of the minor. After the incident, the mother is also crying badly.
