New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi attended the International Conference 2023 (ICDRI) on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure today, i.e., April 4. Addressing the conference in a virtual way, PM Modi said that we have only one way to learn from the incidents that happened earlier. Every country faces different types of disasters. According to media reports, while addressing the International Conference 2023 on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI), Prime Minister Modi said that it is very encouraging that not only governments but also global institutions and the private sector are playing an important role in this platform. In just a few years, 40 countries have joined CDRI. In this way, this conference is taking on the form of an important platform. PM Narendra Modi further said that small and big countries, the global north and south, are all coming together on this stage. Through its chairmanship of the G20, India is bringing the whole world together, and as chairman, we have included ICDRI in many groups. The ICDRI fund was announced last year. Prime Minister Modi said that this fund of 50 million dollars has generated rapid interest among developing countries.
