Thereafter, officers of the Intelligence Unit of the Customs Department were on alert mode at the airport. As soon as Javed Pathan reached Surat airport, the officers stopped him and started checking. Javed had clothes in the upper part of the suitcase, while the bottom was salty. Small packets of diamonds were kept in that namkeen packet. No one should doubt the packet of namkeen, so it was packed like a company.
