Kolkata: Sensation has spread after the bodies of father and son were found in a closed room in West Bengal's Bardhaman. It is being speculated that the man first strangled the son to death. After that he hanged himself from the noose. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took possession of both the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.

In the preliminary investigation, the police have come to know that there was a rift between the deceased youth and his wife for the last 6-7 months. Due to which she was staying in her maternal home. The deceased Aatish was trying to bring his wife home. According to the information, on Wednesday, the family members of the deceased Atish Majumdar had gone to Kumirkola to bring his wife back home. But an agreement could not be reached between the two families. Aatish's wife says that her husband is mentally ill and she will go to the in-laws' house only after showing her husband's certified health certificate from the doctor. On this, Aatish's family had assured that they would show him to a good psychiatrist.

After this Aatish's family returned home. But the door was found locked from inside. Seeing the house closed for a long time, the family got suspicious. Even after making a sound, the door did not open, so as soon as he entered inside, he saw that Aatish was hanging from the gallows and his son's body was lying on the ground. Immediately the incident was reported to the police. It is being told that Aatish has committed suicide by killing an 8-year-old child. The police is investigating the matter
