Mumbai: A shameful incident is coming out of Mumbai in which a 19-year-old girl has been gang-raped. The girl had come to Mumbai from Kolkata in search of a job with her brother-in-law. But in Mumbai, it was his brother-in-law who betrayed him and forced him to do so. Some other persons also raped the victim. While registering a case, the police have arrested the four criminals and further investigation is on.
The police have said that the criminal brother-in-law had brought his sister-in-law to Mumbai on the pretext of a job. There he stayed with her in a rented room. He had already given that room on rent to some beggars. It is being said that first brother-in-law misbehaved with sister-in-law, after that, those beggars also raped her. The victim had not told anyone about the incident earlier. She was afraid that she was new to Mumbai and didn't even know anyone else. But when she became pregnant and the family members started questioning and answering, then the whole matter was given to everyone. Only after that the police came into action and three other criminals were arrested along with brother-in-law.
According to the police, another criminal is involved in this case, but seeing the opportunity, he left for West Bengal. His search is still on and every effort is being made to nab him in time. For now, all the criminals have been produced in the court and have got their police custody.
