Noida: Police of Thana Dankaur area of Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh have arrested a woman, her two daughters and two others for allegedly feeding poisonous substances to four people, including an elderly woman, a resident of Junaidpur village. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone III) Vishal Pandey has informed that a woman from Junaidpur village had mixed toxic substances in the food of four people including her husband Devendra, mother-in-law and brother-in-law on Monday and after that she along with her two daughters left the house. She ran away. Pandey said that while taking action in this case, the police arrested the accused Rajkumari, her daughter Jyoti and Archana, Abhishek and Deepak on Tuesday night. During investigation, the police came to know that Rajkumari, wife of Devendra, along with their daughters Jyoti and Archana had hatched a conspiracy to mix toxic substances in the food of Devendra and other family members, the official said. Jyoti's lover Deepak and Archana's lover Abhishek were also involved in this conspiracy. After consuming the poisonous substance, the family members fainted and their health deteriorated, the police said, who have been admitted to the hospital. Police have registered a case and started investigation. The accused were arrested and produced in the court from where they were sent to judicial custody.
