Kolkata Sikh woman goes to Pakistan with hubby, ‘weds’ Lahore man

New Delhi: A woman who travelled to Lahore with Pati to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev ji's Guru Nanak Jayanti did not marry Pak Sitani, a multan resident. The district is located in Kolkata, West Bengal's capital. On November 17, a deaf and dumb Indian woman who had travelled to Pakistan to celebrate Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji's Prakash Parv married in Lahore. He married according to Muslim rituals in a mosque in Lahore.

There, Paramjit turned to Islam. Paramjit Kaur, on the other hand, has gone to Pakistan on a visa to Delhi, and the authorities have refused to let her stay there. Paramjit Kaur, 40, had been involved with a Pakistani guy through the media for the previous two years, according to sources. She had gone to Pakistan on a Visa from India to Delhi. Paramjit Kaur was living in Kolkata.

This is not the first time that these women involved in a group of devotees have married a Pak Sitani person. Earlier, Kiran Bala, a resident of Balasore, Indian Punjab, had gone to the group and married a Muslim man in Pakistan.
