The soldier was married 3 years ago. Thereafter, the soldier and his family members started demanding dowry. After summoning a report from the Women and Child Development Department on Manisha's allegations, the district court took cognizance of the Protection from Domestic Violence Act against the in-laws and lodged a complaint against the in-laws. Hearing the petition, Judicial Magistrate First Class of District Court Indore Surabhi Singh Sumanji, on manisha's petition, ordered that husband Satyam Behl, mother-in-law Aarti Behl should not commit domestic violence and pay maintenance to the victim from January 8, 2020.
