Gaya: In Bihar's Gaya district, when a lover's family refused to marry, the enraged girlfriend reached the women's police station. Seeing this, the police called the families of both of them to the police station and took information about the entire incident. After the explanation, the couple was married in the police station itself in the presence of the police. In fact, two years ago, Tanuja Kumari, a resident of Cherki police station area, had met Kaushal Kumar, a resident of the Arwal district, due to a marriage ceremony. At first glance, the two fell in love and began to meet.  

On June 4, 2022, boyfriend Kaushal Kumar came to her house to meet his girlfriend. Girlfriend Tanuja Kumar's brother came home. Seeing this, Kaushal Kumar ran away from there. When the family asked the girl about the boy, she said that she loved the young man and wanted to get married. Then the girl's family members asked to go ahead with the marriage. But the family members of her boyfriend Kaushal Kumar refused to marry.  

The enraged girlfriend filed an application at the women's police station. The police called the families of the two. On the initiative of the police, the couple got married at the Vishnupad temple and the women's police station. Tanuja Kumari, who became a bride, said, "We have both been in love with each other for the last two years. Kaushal used to come often to meet me. Two days ago, he came to meet. At that moment my brother came home, and he left. Then my family members discussed with their families, so Kaushal's maternal uncle refused to marry. Then we applied to the women's police station and we could get married. Women's SHO Ravi Ranjana Kumari said, "Tanuja Kumari, a resident of Cherki police station area, and Kaushal Kumar, a resident of Kurtha in Arwal district, had been having an affair for two years. The young woman was adamant that she would marry her boyfriend, but the young man's family was refusing the marriage. When a complaint was lodged at the police station, both of them were called. Asked about marrying a boy and a girl. They both said yes to this. The marriage was then solemnized in the presence of both parties.
