Lucknow: The birth anniversary of freedom fighter Birsa Munda is being celebrated in Jharkhand today. Recently, the Central Government has announced to celebrate Munda's birth anniversary as 'Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas'. Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, including the CM of Uttar Pradesh, has paid homage through Koo.
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has shared a post on the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda and wrote: "It is the utmost privilege of all of us to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, the pioneer of the eternal tradition of tribal life and value, as 'Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas'. Hearty greetings and best wishes to all the people of the state on 'Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas'.
CM Yogi Adityanath and Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari also expressd thier heartiest greetings on birth anniversary of lord Birsa Munda celebrated as 'Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas'.
Textiles Minister, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goel posted that he saluted the birth anniversary of Adivasi Jan Nayak, Bhagwan Birsa Munda, who fought against British Rule and played an important role in the development of tribal society. Greetings to all the people of the state on 'Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas' and Jharkhand Foundation Day dedicated to his birth anniversary.
