Satya Nadella was born on August 19, 1967, in Hyderabad. His father Bukkapuram Nadella Yugandhar was an administrative officer and his mother Prabhati Yugandhar was a Lecturer in Sanskrit. After which he received an electrical engineering degree from Manipal Institute of Technology in 1988 and after that, he did MBA from Booth School of Business in Chicago in 1996.
