Surat: The role of two clerics in the Kishan Bolia murder case has come to the fore. The Ahmedabad police have so far arrested two persons in connection with the case. On January 25, 2022, 27-year-old Kishan Bolia was shot dead in Modhwara-Sundkuwa area of Ahmedabad's Dhanduka town. According to the media report, of the two clerics whose role has come to light in the murder, one is from Ahmedabad and the other from Mumbai. The cleric of Jamalpur area of Ahmedabad had allegedly provided weapons to the murderers. The maulvi of Mumbai had given instructions for the murder. According to media reports, seven separate teams have been formed by the police to investigate the incident. Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi has reviewed the probe. The police have informed them of all the information collected so far. The atmosphere has been tense since the murder of Kishan Bolia (Bharwar). A large number of police force has been deployed in the city. On Tuesday, two bike riders fired two rounds and killed Kishan Bolia. Hindu organisations took to the streets after the incident. A large number of people participated in Kishan's last visit which was taken out on Wednesday. A bandh was announced on Thursday. It is being told that Kishan had posted a video on social media, after which Islamic fundamentalists were angry with him. It was reported that the video posted by Kishan was related to Prophet Muhammad. Many people had objected to Kishan's post. The police had also taken action against Kishan. Since the post, Kishan has also been receiving death threats. Kishan had not been leaving his house since the incident. On Tuesday, he suddenly got out of his bike, but was shot at a distance. An eyewitness said that the assailants who fired at Kishan were following him on a bike, as soon as he reached near Modhwara turn, the first bullet was fired at Kishan, but he survived.
