Washington: According to officials, an accident occurred at around 8:20 pm at the intersection of Wreck Saddis Church Rd and Barfield Road in South Macon. A white Chevrolet Silverado truck was heading west on Sardis Church Road and lost control and hit a divider near the intersection of Barfield Road. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men exiting the truck and a woman still trapped inside the truck. The female victim and one of the male victims were declared dead at the scene by coroner Leon Jones. The other male passenger was transported to NAvicent and his condition is said to be stable. Officials said the names of the deceased and the third victim would not be released until the next of kin were informed. This horrific accident is being investigated.
