New Delhi: Two separate cases of suicide have been reported in the country's capital, New Delhi. In the first case, while talking to his girlfriend over a video call, a young man hanged himself to death. At the same time, in the second case, an engineering student also hanged herself to death. The Delhi Police has started investigating these cases.

Police said the youth had made a video call to his girlfriend in North East Delhi's New Usmanpur area. During this time, an argument started between the two and the angry youth hung himself from the fan. According to information, 19-year-old Prashant lived in Delhi's Gautam Vihar area. He had returned to Delhi from Haridwar on Monday itself after attending the Kanwar Yatra. Police have not found any suicide notes from the incident. It was reported that Prashant's father does the shuttering work. 

At the same time, in the second case of suicide, the B.Tech student committed suicide while listening to the song. A BTech student at IITTD Okhla committed suicide by hanging herself in a hostel room. The student had also written a suicide note on the laptop before committing suicide. People who rushed to the spot saw that an English song was playing on the student's laptop.  According to the police, 19-year-old Shravani has not blamed anyone for her death. In fact, on July 26, another girl who was staying with the student reached the room and found Shravani's body hanging from the fan and the laptop was open in which an English song was playing.
