Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray met PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday amid corona epidemic. The meeting discussed various issues including Maratha reservation, vaccination. When the media questioned Uddhav's meeting with the Prime Minister at a press conference, he said, "What is wrong in meeting the Prime Minister, I have met the Prime Minister and not Nawaz Sharif".

Uddhav Thackeray said that 'We still have a relationship with the PM, what is wrong if I meet the PM personally. I didn't go to meet Nawaz Sharif. There has been a one-to-one meeting between us'. Let's tell you that, ever since the Shiv Sena-Congress-NCP government was formed in Maharashtra, there has been a constant situation in the Central and State Governments. Earlier, the states were given the responsibility, we had also prepared'. Uddhav said that 'There were 6 crore people in Maharashtra between 18 and 44 years, we wanted 12 crore doses. But then there were problems in the supply. But now that the Centre has again taken responsibility, we have thanked the PM. We hope that the entire country will get the vaccine at the earliest'. Let us tell you that apart from Uddhav Thackeray, Ajit Pawar and Ashok Chavan also attended the meeting.
