New Delhi: Former Indian cricketers Ajit Agarkar and Parthiv Patel have made a big claim for the final of the ICC World Test Championship against New Zealand. Parthiv Patel termed Cheteshwar Pujara's role as crucial in the match and expressed hope that team India's third-ranked batsman will be able to score the most runs in the historic match.

India and New Zealand will play a ICC WTC final in Southampton from June 18 and Parthiv Patel feels Pujara in batting and Mohammed Shami in bowling will be crucial for Team India.  Parthiv Patel said in star sports work 'Cricket Connected', 'India will have to retain Pujara at No.3 if they are to win the match. India will be in a very good position if they stay at the crease for 3-4 hours in this match.

Former Team India pacer Ajit Agarkar said, "It is difficult to say who will win the match, but New Zealand will start as contenders in this match. I will name Virat Kohli as far as the highest run scorer is concerned".
