Kumar's apartment and the camp office, where he was arrested by police on Sunday night, were also visited by Kishan Reddy.Following his detention after a botched protest plan, Sanjay Kumar was sentenced to a 14-day judicial remand on Monday, with the BJP's national leadership calling the police action "death of democracy." Kumar, a Lok Sabha member from Karimnagar, was arrested on Sunday night as he prepared to participate in a 'Jagarana' protest, a night vigil, in support of teachers and other government personnel who were protesting a state government decision.
