UP Municipal Elections: BJP leads in all 17 seats for the post of Mayor

Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP), which is facing continuous defeat in Uttar Pradesh, has also suffered a major setback in the mayoral elections. SP's account has also not been opened on the mayor's seats. The situation has become such that the SP has slipped to the third and fourth positions in many municipal corporations. SP has to face competition from BJP as well as Congress and BSP. As of now, the entire 17 out of 17 seats seem to be going to the BJP's account.

In the initial phase, a seat was seen coming in the court of BSP. But now BJP is leading on all the seats. BJP has also won many seats. The SP has slipped to the fourth position in Moradabad. BJP's Bihari Lal Arya has won in Jhansi. Congress candidate Arvind Kumar Bablu finished second here. Here the SP has slipped to the third position. Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh of BJP has left BSP behind in Saharanpur. The Samajwadi Party remained at the third position here as well.

In Shahjahanpur also, SP has reached the third position. BJP has won here. Congress has been in second place. BJP's Harikant Ahluwalia is leading in Meerut. On the other side were Anas of Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM. SP was running on the third here too. In Moradabad also BJP is taking lead and Congress is on the second rung. Here BSP is running at number three and SP at number four.
