CM Yogi reaches Gorakhnath temple and performs 'Kanya-Pujan'

Gorakhpur: CM Yogi Adityanath of Gorakshpithadhishwar performed Kanya Pujan with rituals on the occasion of Durganavami at Gorakhnath temple on Monday. In the meantime, after finishing the rituals, worship and aarti, he gave away food offerings and donations to the girls.

Gorakshapeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath worshipped Maa durga Saptashati and mother Siddhidatri before worshiping the girls. CM Yogi has said that the ritual of Navratri is a festival of empowering national unity through social unity along with spiritual power accumulation. In Sanatan Hindu religion, there is an opportunity to worship teenage girls, reverence to Maa Adishakti, the goddess of power, as well as worship of teenage girls for the atonement of knowledge, power and opulence etc.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that the ninth form of Maa Durga is Maa Siddhidatri whose worship brings many kinds of perfections. Maa Siddhidatri is requested to fill the entire society and worshipers with these siddhis and fulfil the wishes of all his devotees and take away their sorrow and pain.
