New Delhi: Former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi left for Bangkok to take a break during the important assembly elections to be held in the next two states. Questions were raised on his move. The Congress party started troubling as soon as Rahul went to Bangkok trip. Opponents grabbed it hands and attacked the Congress party on the pretext of Rahul Gandhi. After this, the Congress has come to the rescue of Rahul. Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi came out in defence of party leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday and tweeted that personal life should not be mixed with professional life.
He said, 'We should take care of everyone's freedom and privacy and should not interfere in it. After all, this is the basic and clear principle of progressive and liberal democracy. He used the Bangkok and Rahul Gandhi hashtags in his tweet. Significantly, Bangkok and Rahul Gandhi are trending on Twitter. Elections will be held on October 21 in Maharashtra and Haryana and counting of votes on October 24. There is news of discord within the party in both states. In such a situation, Rahul's sudden departure abroad has not only increased the headache of the party but also gave the opposition another opportunity to target the party. However, Rahul has done this once before.
