Hamirpur: BJP booth president Rakesh Singh was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon on Saturday night in Hamirpur district.High police officials have arrested the accused with a weapon used in the murder. The accused has also confessed to his crime in the police interrogation. The murderer had killed BJP leader Rakesh Singh, a resident of Pachkura Mahan village under Sumerpur police station area, with a sharp weapon. While there was a sensation in the entire area when the leader of the ruling party was strangled, the police were agitated. Several teams were formed by the Hamirpur Superintendent of Police to ensure that the murder stakes early, which has revealed the bloody incident within 12 hours. The murder accused has also confessed to his crime after being arrested by the police. He has been awarded a reward of Rs 20,000 to the team that disclosed the entire case.
