Lucknow: Farrukhabad police in Uttar Pradesh arrested two members of an inter-state cyber gang who used to cheat farmers in the name of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi and used to withdraw lakhs of rupees from their bank accounts. At present, two gang members have been arrested by the police, while one of their accomplices is investigating the police. The inter-state cyber gang has fraudulently committed millions with farmers in half a dozen districts of the state, including Farrukhabad. In Farrukhabad district, the police were constantly receiving complaints of fraud with farmers in the name of Kisan Samman Nidhi. The police started a probe by registering a case of cheating with the farmers. After a lot of hard work, the police arrested Prabhakar and Deepu, residents of Kannauj. Both the accused arrested were farmers from being farmers as government employees and used to get thumbs up from the farmers in the name of Kisan Samman Nidhi and put a copy of their Aadhaar card and bank account and then take a copy of the Aadhaar card from the bank accounts of the farmers. This gang had fraudulently committed lakhs of rupees with farmers in half a dozen districts of the state, including Farrukhabad. The police have arrested two people after hard work.
