Lucknow: An 18-year-old boy was shot dead during celebratory firing at a birthday party in Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya late on Saturday (November 12). This case is from Balmiki Basti of the Sadar Kotwali area. A boy's birthday party was being organised in a house here. At the same time, some youths at the party opened fire. One of the bullets went and hit Dev Kumar in the stomach. Dev was seriously injured in the firing. The family immediately rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
