Hyderabad: A video is going viral on social media since Saturday (November 12). In this video, Himank Bansal, a student of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) in Hyderabad, was being beaten up by other students of the college and forced to chant 'Allahu Akbar'.

In the video, which has gone viral on social media, a group of students can be seen beating and threatening Himank Bansal inside the hostel room. In this video, it is clearly seen that Himank is in the room and others are together beating him in the cheeks and kicking other parts of his body. Himank is also thrown down from the bed in which he is seen sitting. After the attack, the victim Himank Bansal lodged a police complaint. In this complaint, he has said that Deepasha Sharma, a student of the college, had called him a 'Pedophile', for befriending a girl three years younger.

Himank then argued in his defence, saying he had not befriended a girl three years younger than him to establish a physical relationship with him. To confirm his point, Himank also cited Islamic literature and pointed out that it was not wrong. Deepasha then twisted Himank's words and conveyed it to other students of the college, especially Muslim students. Himank has also stated in his complaint that 15-20 people entered the hostel room and attacked him and forced him to chant 'Allahu Akbar'. Himank alleged that the boys who came to assault him also tried to strip him naked. Not only this but the accused also threatened him and his family. Himank has mentioned the accident with him in his complaint and has explained in detail about all the accused.
