UP Court declared Mukhtar Ansari's MLA son Abbas 'fugitive'

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh strongman Mukhtar Ansari's son and SBSP MLA Abbas Ansari is still out of the grip of the police and is constantly absconding. Due to this, the MP/MLA court has declared him an absconder and on Saturday, the Lucknow Police pasted a notice on Abbas's house. In fact, the Lucknow Police, which reached Mohammadabad in Ghazipur on Saturday, has pasted a notice to declare Abbas a fugitive at his residence, on the order of the court.  

Abbas is wanted in a case related to misuse of arms licence. In search of Abbas, Lucknow police raided different locations in UP as well as tried to nab him in Punjab and Rajasthan. However, he could not be caught by the police. After which the special court of MP/MLA issued a non-bailable warrant against Abbas Ansari on July 14. Lucknow Police is conducting raids from Lucknow to Punjab and Rajasthan in search of Abbas Ansari.

On July 14, the MP-MLA court of Lucknow issued a non-bailable warrant against Abbas Ansari. After which 12 teams of police raided 135 places in 8 states including Uttar Pradesh for 43 days. Mla Abbas Ansari has not been traced even after raids in 8 states. Abbas Ansari did not even vote in the presidential election to avoid arrest.
