After this, the government will start the tender process for drinking water, sewerage, drainage works to be done under the project. According to the information received, in the first phase of the project approved by the Center, work will be done on the roads damaged by drinking water, sewerage, drainage and excavation in Dehradun, Haldwani, Ramnagar and Nainital city. There is also information that while work will be done in Roorkee and Kotdwar in the second phase. The DPR of the project was sent to the central government by the government. On the basis of DPR, the central team will undertake on-site inspection of the work to be done in the project. It has been learned from the sources that the government will start the tender process for the construction work to be done in the project in April. The project work will be completed within five to seven years after the allocation of work. Chandresh Yadav, Secretary-in-Charge and CEO of the project said that the Center has set a deadline for the Urban Infrastructure Development of Secondary Town project. The central team will come to Uttarakhand in March. Permission will be received from the center to conduct tender process for construction works by April.
