Dehradun: For the past several days, there has been increasing anger among the people, who have been growing up about violence and reservation. Congress will hold a sit-in against the state government in Gandhi Park on Sunday, March 1, 2020, on the matters related to the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination, unemployment, inflation, and making alcohol affordable. At the press conference held in Congress Bhavan, Congress state president Pritam Singh has attacked the state government fiercely. He said that there is a difference between the words and actions of the government. The slogan of zero tolerance was given as soon as he took power in the state. It has become clear in the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination that there was a disturbance in the protection of the government. Even after the arrest of the officials, the government is not ready to conduct a high-level inquiry into the matter.
Where the party has submitted a memorandum to the Governor, there is a demand for cancellation of the examination and a high-level inquiry. At the same time, information has been received that the government is not doing anything to control inflation. In contrast, the work of pushing liquor into the trough of intoxication is being done by making alcohol cheaper. Former Congress minister Dinesh Aggarwal, former MLA Rajkumar, state vice president Suryakant Dhasmana and other Congressmen were present in the press conference.
Government scared of lanterns: It is also being said that Pritam Singh said that the state government has been shocked by the Vikas Khojas Yatra carrying the lantern of Congress in Haldwani. A large number of people participated in this demonstration. By this, the CM is making absurd statements. At the same time, the Chief Minister said that the Congress has gone out to search for the former Chief Minister Harish Rawat with a lantern.
