Dehradun: Chardham Yatra is set to begin in Uttarakhand from July 1 amid the corona epidemic. Now, the Government does not want to be negligent about it. Due to this, vaccination is being intensified in the districts along the Chardham yatra route. The State Government is working to send extra vaccines to these districts. This is so that everyone can get the vaccine and reduce the risk of corona infection. In fact, an extra 30,000 vaccine doses have been provided by the Government at Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudra Prayag, Tehri, and Pauri. Let us also inform you that on behalf of the Government of Uttarakhand, 5,000 doses of extra vaccine have been provided to Chamoli of Badrinath Dham, 10,000 to Uttarakashi with Gangotri-Yamunotri Dham, 5,000 to Rudraprayag district of Kedarnath Dham, 5,000 to Tehri and Pauri also. The people concerned can be vaccinated on a priority basis. The Government of Uttarakhand has started Chardham yatra at the district level for the time being. Now, the people of the same district will be able to travel there only. Moreover, people from outside have not been allowed to visit Chardham. CM Tirath Rawat says, "As soon as Chardham yatra begins, the concerned puraji, shopkeepers, dhabas, local stake-keepers and cabs, buses, mule drivers will be directly exposed to passengers, which may increase their risk of infection. That is why all of them should be vaccinated on priority. So that all the passengers and all of them can also be safe.''
