Dispur: The Assam government has recently issued new guidelines to prevent corona. It is said to come into effect from tomorrow i.e. The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has issued a revised and consolidated directive. The directive includes instructions to prevent the spread of covid-19 in the districts. This order will be in force from 5 am to the next order on 28th June 2021.

In this case, officials say, "In some districts, the positivity rate is higher in the last seven days than others and they were divided into three categories based on their caseload.'' In addition, officials also said, "High positivity rate districts (Morigaon, Vishwanath, Golpara, and Bokakhat (Civil) are subdivisions. Middle positivity rates are Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, Nalbari, Buxa, Bajli. Kamrup, Darang, Sonitpur, Nagaon, Hozai, Golaghat and Sarupathar subdivisions, Jorhat, Sibasagar, Tinsukia, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Kachar, Karimganj, Karbi Anglong and Dibrugarh.'' Further, it was said, "The districts showing improvement include Kamrup (MA), South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Charaidev, and Hailakandi.''

What are the new guidelines:-

* In fact, curfew time will be round the clock for high positivity rate districts, while for districts with moderate positivity rate from 2 pm to 5 pm and for districts showing improvement from 5 pm to 5 am.

* Workplaces, commercial establishments, and shops are said to be closed in high positivity rate districts. On the other hand, moderate positivity rates will remain open till 1 pm and for improving districts till 4 pm. At the same time, grocery, fruits and vegetables, dairy, and cattle feed shops will remain open till 5 pm in high positivity rate districts and 1 pm for districts with moderate-high positivity rate, and 4 pm for districts showing improvement.

* It has also been stated that all government employees who have taken at least one dose of the covid-19 vaccine will be present in the office except in the total control areas. At the same time, private sector institutions can decide for themselves the presence of their employees.

* The same employees who have not got the covid-19 vaccine will have to attend the office if their services are required by the concerned authorities.
