Vanraj chooses to transfer Pakhi to a different city: Anupamaa

Baa claims that even the neighbours would have shown up, but Anupama did not. Anupama is defended by Kavya, but Baa asks her not to. What happened? inquires Anupama who arrives. Anupama receives a stern reprimand from Baa for her neglect of Pakhi. She learns from Vanraj that Barkha visited their home and revealed what Adhik and she intended to do.

Anupama is asked by Baa why she hid this. Anupama claims she didn't conceal it; rather, she didn't want to bring it up before Diwali and Adhik had previously admitted as much to Anuj. According to Vanraj, he decided to send Pakhi away from the city because he was concerned for her well-being and wanted to talk to her about it.

Pakhi hears this and is startled. Anupama advises them to put Diwali first so they can think things through later. Barkha offends Anuj by discussing Adhik with the Shahs. She is questioned by him as to why she was so impatient that she didn't even wait until Diwali was over. She claims she is certain Adhik does not love Pakhi, and for that reason she spoke to everyone with good intentions. Adhik grows irritated. Kapadias is informed by Anupama that Pakhi will be sent to a different city by Vanraj. Adhik begs Anuj to act to resolve the situation. He responds that he is unable to because Anupama and Vanraj are the parents. Anupama advises them to all celebrate Diwali. Pakhi creates the rangoli later, and Diwali preparations get under way.

In contrast, Anupama creates the rangoli while Anuj makes romantic advances toward her. After she flushes, Anu fervently wishes everyone a happy Diwali. Anuj and Anupama celebrate Diwali at their workplace by handing out candy and announcing a holiday. Vanraj and Bapuji go and give the sweets to the guard and maids and thank them for their hard work on their behalf. They also talk about the value of those who constantly provide us with indirect assistance. Pakhi is asked by Samar to leave the room, but she doesn't respond.
