Varanasi: The order of the District Judge on Friday on the investigation of the length, width, depth, age and surrounding area by carbon dating or other modern methods of 'Shivling' found during the survey in the Gyanvapi complex located in Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath. In the court of the District Judge, the petition for regular darshan of Shringar Gauri located in Gyanvapi and protection of other Deities will be heard on Friday. In the last hearing held on September 29 in this case, the plaintiffs had come face to face with regard to carbon dating. In the court of District Judge Dr Ajay Krishna Vishwesh, on behalf of the four women litigants, the top court's lawyers Harishankar Jain and Vishnu Jain have demanded that the Arghe and surroundings should be investigated under the Shivling. He had also said that this work should be done without tampering with the Shivling, be it by carbon dating or in any other way. At the same time, the lawyer of the plaintiff Rakhi Singh had expressed the apprehension of the Shivling being fractured by carbon dating. Whereas the Muslim side had said that there was no carbon dating of stone and wood. After the completion of the arguments, in this case, the District Judge has fixed the date of 7 October for the order. Actually, the Muslim side is describing the structure found in Gyanvapi as a fountain, while the Hindu side says that it is a Shivling. The Hindu side also says that, if the Muslim side is saying that it is a fountain, then it should be scientifically investigated through carbon dating, in this way it will be clear whether it is a fountain or a Shivling. Let us tell you that two separate petitions for handing over the Gyanvapi complex to Hindus and daily, bhog and worship of Shivling were not heard on Thursday. Due to the holiday in the court, the matter is likely to come up for hearing on Friday. In a petition filed by Kiran Singh, wife of Vishwa Vaidik Sanatan Sangh chief Jitendra Singh Bisen and General Secretary of the Sangh, the Gyanvapi complex has been handed over to the Hindus and the worship of the Shivling found there has been demanded. The matter was to be heard on Thursday in the court of Civil Judge Fast Track Court Senior Division Mahendra Kumar Pandey. In the second case, the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Kumdalata Tripathi was to hear the application of Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati. In this, he demanded permission to worship Shivling and offer prasad. In this case, during the last hearing in the court, the respondent Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee had sought time to file the objection. In both cases, the order can come today i.e. on Friday.
