Video of a miscreant firing three rounds in celebration of his birthday went viral on social media

The video of a rowdy sheeter allegedly opening three rounds of fire in the air during his birthday celebrations in Nizamabad district is viral on social media. The man, identified as Arif, was recently released on bail after being booked under the Prevention of Dangerous Activities (PD) Act.

However, the gun turned out to be a dummy one. According to police, it was bought from an e-commerce website and even sounds of bullets in the video were included through a video-editing app to give an impression that the bullets were fired in the air. A suo-moto case has been registered against Arif and he is still being questioned.

In another incident, a burnt body of a person was found in a Honda City car on Tuesday on the outskirts of Mangalparthi village of Veldurthi mandal of Medak district. Since the car belonged to Dharmakar Srinivas (45), a businessman and a resident of Piltmabes in Medak town, the police suspect that it was his dead body. Srinivas left home on Monday afternoon stating that he was going on a Tirupathi with his friends. Since Monday night, Srinivas’ mobile phone was switched off and he was not traceable. His wife Hymavathi, however, could not identify the body since it was almost reduced into ashes.
