Vistara operates flights between Agartala and Bangalore, from August

BANGALORE: The Budget carrrier Vistara airline will reportedly launch a flight service between Agartala and Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka on August 1.  The operation of flight will benefit flyers immensely. An official added that this 

The launch of a service between Agartala and Bangalore by Vistara is planned for August 1st, said KC Meena, Director of Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport. From Bangalore, the flight will land without stopping, and from Agartala, it will return via Guwahati.."

On the Agartala-Bangalore route at the moment, three flights are run by Indigo and Akasa Airlines.  The Offical said that SpieceJet is prepared to begin service between Bangladesh's Agartala and Chittagong, but the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has not yet notified the immigration centre.  "By mid-June, it is hopped to have all pertinent protocols cleared from the Centre. International flight service would begin as soon as the procedure is finished, officlal said.

Meanwhile, Manik Saha, the chief minister of Tripura, had urged Jyotiraditya Scindia, the minister of civil aviation, to add more aircraft to the route. Currently, four airlines fly 34–36 times each day out of MBB Airport, which sees about 4,500 passengers each day.

The interline agreement that Vistara and Air India signed earlier this month allows customers to smoothly move between the networks of the two airlines.

Through this agreement, travellers will be able to check their bags all the way to their final destinations and receive their boarding cards at the initial point of departure for all of the travel sectors on a single ticket.
