Guwahati: A case of setting passengers on fire in a moving train had come to light in Kozhikode, Kerala. Now the case of a person shooting himself in a moving train has been taken up for hearing. The police are engaged in identifying that person. The troublesome thing is that no paper has been found with that person till now. He did not even have a ticket to travel on the train. There was a stir among the passengers after the incident. Emergency chain pulling was done, after which the RPF and police reached the train. The bogie in which the incident took place was cut apart, the passengers were shifted to another compartment, and the train was dispatched. Reports say that the incident involving the passenger shooting himself took place on the New Delhi-bound North East Express. A passenger is said to have allegedly shot himself dead near New Jalpaiguri station in West Bengal. The person has yet to be identified. General compartment incident: NFR spokesperson Sabyasji Dey has said that the man shot himself in the general compartment of the train at around 8 p.m. on Monday night. Continuing his point, he has said that the person did not have any tickets or any documents about himself. We are trying to ascertain his identity.
