Lucknow: The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has rescued a minor Hindu girl from the Barhni border of the Indo-Nepal border. The girl was being taken to Nepal by an accused named Wasiullah Shafi Khan. The accused is originally a resident of Gujarat, while the girl is said to be from Uttar Pradesh. The victim and the accused have been handed over to the district Siddharthnagar police. The incident took place on Friday (December 9). According to the report, as usual, SSB personnel were keeping vigil at the border on Friday. Meanwhile, at around 10:30 pm, a boy and girl entering the Nepal border from India were noticed by the soldiers. Both of them had luggage in their hands, due to which the soldiers suspected them of coming from a faraway journey. Both of them were stopped and questioned by SSB personnel, but the boy could not give a satisfactory answer. According to the report, shortly after this, SSB personnel revealed the whole truth in the interrogation of the young man. The boy's name is Wasiullah Safi Khan. He is originally a resident of the Ballam Nagar area in the Vapi district of Gujarat state. Wasiullah is about 23 years old. At the same time, the girl is a resident of Swaroopnagar in the police station area of Kanpur Dehat in Uttar Pradesh. The girl is a Hindu, who is about 17 years old i.e. a minor. After getting suspicious, the SSB personnel took the two into custody and informed the Siddharthnagar police. Police rushed to the spot and took Wasiullah Safi Khan and the girl with them. The police are interrogating both of them. The families of both have been contacted. It is also suspected that Wasiullah Shafi Khan was trying to take the minor Hindu girl to another country via Nepal. Police are trying to find out how the contact took place between the two. The documents found in the possession of the accused are also being examined.
