Lucknow: A police constable posted in Uttar Pradesh's Lalitpur district has been accused of supporting fugitive Zakir Naik. The name of the constable is Mushir Khan, he is posted in the women's police station of the district. Now facebook screenshots of the constable are also becoming increasingly viral on social media. In these viral screenshots, the constable is also seen sharing a post about conversion. In these screenshots, videos of controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik are being shared with an ID named Mushir. According to the screenshot, the Facebook group to which policeman Mushir┬аis associated is named 'Group of Followers of Dr. Zakir Naik'. The admin of this group is Aamir Khan. There are more than 4 lakh people associated with the group, one of them is constable Mushir. According to the report, Constable Mushir is posted at the women's police station in Lalitpur. He drives the official vehicle of the SHO of the women's police station. No one in the department was aware of Mushir's actions. In another screenshot, he shared a link showing actress Deepika, who played mother Sita in Ramayana, in a burqa.

Mahant Bajrang Muni Asad, in his tweet, has also expressed apprehension that constable Mushir is associated with the terrorist network. He has said that he will demand the NIA to investigate the network of the constable. On the complaint of Bajrang Muni, Lalitpur police have said that the matter will be investigated and action will be taken.
