Hindus are those who suppress violence: Pandit Dhirendra Shastri

New Delhi: These days Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham is in the headlines. Along with controversies, the popularity of Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, is also increasing rapidly. Amidst all this, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri says that India is a Hindu nation, and just a declaration is needed. Talking to the media, Mahant Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham said that India was already a Hindu nation, India is a Hindu nation, and will remain a Hindu nation, just a declaration is needed.

He said that there is a small line in between, I raised my voice only to cross that line. He said, 'Our life has been inclined towards Hinduism and Sanatan since the beginning. If someone gets upset with the talk of Hindu Rashtra, then it is his personal shortcoming, he should get a checkup by a good doctor. We do not have any aim to create a ruckus.' Pandit Dhirendra Shastri says, 'Hindu means one who suppresses violence. We are Sanatani Hindus, we do not believe in violence. We the people of India believe in non-violence and those who suppress violence are the residents of the Hindu nation.'

He said, 'Such a concept, such a goal is kept in India, that's why India was, is, and will remain a Hindu nation. Those who are priests of violence must be on fire because of this talk of ours and if they are, then they should get their mental checkups done.' He further said that it has nothing to do with Hindu-Muslim. He said, 'We have goodwill towards every creed, sect and we have faith and bow down towards every religion, but there is bigotry towards Sanatan.'
