Other states of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Konkan-Goa are also likely to receive rains on Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is likely to be above 40 degrees Celsius in some places of Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
