'Welcome to those who want to return to Shiv Sena..,' said Aaditya Thackeray

Mumbai: After losing power in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray sent a message to the rebel leaders of the party. Aditya said those who have left the party are welcome if they want to come back. He said, "The fight over the "real Shiv Sena" continues. I have told those who are betraying us that if you want to come back, the door is always open.''

In one of his interviews, Aaditya Thackeray attacked rebel MLAs of the party, including CM Eknath Shinde, for terming his government in Maharashtra as "illegal and unconstitutional". It is worth mentioning that This statement of Aaditya Thackeray comes at a time when Eknath Shinde's rebellion in Maharashtra has created a political crisis. Last month, Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray later removed Eknath Shinde from all party posts for "indulging in anti-party activities".

The fight for Shiv Sena continues with the Eknath Shinde-led faction passing a resolution to elect CM Shinde as Shiv Sena's leader. Amid the ongoing tussle within the Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde faction, Aaditya Thackeray on Saturday said, "We are not in touch with them (rebel Shiv Sena leaders). We're just in touch with people.'' Recently, leaders in the youth wing of the Aaditya Thackeray-led Shiv Sena came out in the open in support of CM Eknath Shinde. Earlier, corporators in a big way from the municipal corporations of the Mumbai Metropolitan Area had announced their support for Eknath Shinde. Yuva Sena secretary and councillor from Thane Municipal Corporation, Purvesh Sarnaik, has already joined the Shinde camp.
