The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched a mobile app for health workers named WHO Academy. Health workers will get information related to corona infection in this app. This app has been developed by the Lifelong Learning Center of the World Health Organization. The app can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store and Apple's App Store. This app is available in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish languages. Through this WHO app, health workers will be guided to fight infection. Also how to use any health equipment. It will also be given through the app. Health workers will also be trained through the app and online workshops will also be organized. During this time they will be told how to protect themselves while taking care of COVID-19 patients. At the launch of the app, WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adnom Ghebreyus said, "With this new mobile app, WHO is directly in the hands of learning and knowledge-sharing power for healthcare workers around the world." To prepare this app, WHO Academy conducted a survey in March in which more than 20,000 health workers from all over the world participated. The survey found that two-thirds of health workers reported that they needed to be more prepared for infection prevention and control, personal protective equipment and communication.
