New Delhi: Former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is battling allegations of alleged sexual harassment. A Khap Panchayat meeting was organized in Rohtak, Haryana in support of the wrestlers who have been protesting against them for the past several days. A large number of Khap leaders reached the meeting, where the Khap people demanded a narco test of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Brij Bhushan's reaction has also come to the fore on this demand. He has made it clear that he is ready to get the narco test done, but he has put a condition in front of the wrestlers. BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, 'I am ready to get my narco test, polygraphy test or lie detector done, whatever you say, but I have a condition. Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia should also be tested along with me. If both the wrestlers are ready to get their test done, then call the press and announce it. I promise them that I am also ready for this. I still stand by my words and promise the countrymen to always stand by this. Along with this, Brijbhushan Singh also said 'Raghukul custom always came, life goes but promise does not go' in Ramcharit Manas. On the other hand, on Sunday (May 21) to support the wrestlers, the farmer leaders also joined the Khap, who have been involved in the farmer's movement before. A resolution was passed in this meeting demanding that Brij Bhushan Singh's narco test should be conducted and he should face legal action. Farmer leaders have announced that a candle march will be taken out at India Gate on May 23 at 5 pm, through which the protest will be further intensified. Along with this, Mahila Mahapanchayat will be organized in front of the new Parliament House on 28th May. It is being told that the new Parliament House can be inaugurated on this day. Brij Bhushan Singh has been accused of sexual harassment by 7 female wrestlers, including a minor. The protesters are continuously demanding his arrest. At the same time, the police have also registered two FIRs against Brij Bhushan Singh, which also includes the POCSO Act. The wrestlers had warned that if their demands were not met, they would take a major decision after May 21. However, now that Brij Bhushan Singh has agreed to all the tests and has asked the wrestlers to get their tests done as well, the matter has become very complicated. Because the person on whom the allegations are made has himself agreed to get all the tests done, if the wrestlers agree to get their narco test done by accepting their condition, then which of the two is telling the truth, it will come to the fore that how much truth is there in the allegations of exploitation.
