Senior Karnataka Congress leader DK Shivakumar has been arrested in the money laundering case. On his arrest in this case, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has said that he is saddened to hear about the arrest of DK Shivakumar. Yeddyurappa said that he would be very happy to see Shivakumar outside but, the law will go his own way in the money laundering case against DK Shivakumar. In his statement, he further said that BS Yeddyurappa said that he would be most happy if former Karnataka minister and senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar gets filled with allegations. After talking to reporters in Bengaluru, he further said that I pray to God to come out of everything. I neither hate anyone in my life, nor have I wanted anything bad for anyone. The law will do its job. If he comes out (of the charges), I will be most happy. For your information, Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy said that the arrest of DK Shivakumar is 100% politically motivated. He alleged that the Central Government is misusing everything from the Income Tax Department, ED, Reserve Bank of India, Election Commission. They have been doing this for the last five years. It can be called the killing of democracy.
