Yogi government releases supplementary budget for 2019-20, will spend this much on Deepotsav

Lucknow: The Yogi government has presented its third supplementary budget on Tuesday 23rd July. State Finance Minister Rajesh Agarwal has presented a supplementary budget of 13,594 crore rupees for the financial year 2019-20. The Budget has given special attention to setting up of infrastructure, tourism and medical colleges.

While an amount of Rs 5 crore has been allocated for tourism, information and dissemination in UP, the Yogi government has allocated Rs 6 crore to organise deep-off festival in Ayodhya. 100 crore has been allocated for development of different tourist spots in the State. 5 crore for development of eco-tourism, 10 crore for tourism development of Vindhyavasini Devi Dham at Janpad Mirzapur.

On the other hand, an amount of Rs 2 crore has been allocated for provision of infrastructure facilities at Raja Rao Ram Baksh Singh Park at Janpad Unnao. Along with this, district hospitals in Ayodhya, Shahjahanpur and Ferozabad have allocated Rs 5 crore to set up high-level medical colleges.
