Noida: Governments change, but some policemen' tactics, character and attitude don't change. One such case has come to light from Noida, where a policeman beat up a shopkeeper when he asked for money for ice-cream.

Meanwhile, some eyewitnesses of the incident called number 100. The police, who arrived at the scene, freed the ice cream vendor from the clutches of Daroga and the case has now been investigated by a CO-level officer. After the call, the PCR reached the Barola outpost and rescued the bloody ice cream vendor. Victim Amit Kumar alias Tinku has told police that at 11 o'clock on July 13, Daroga Barola Neeraj, a soldier and a juicer came to my shop. I gave them Rs 50 for ice cream. Victim Amit Kumar said that after I asked for money, he started beating me and brought me to the checkpoint and beat him fiercely at the checkpoint.

The victim alleges that even after several complaints, no action is being taken against the accused policemen, after which she met the SSP of Gautam Buddha Nagar on her complaint and heard the entire incident. After a complaint from the SSP, the investigation into the case has been handed over to the CO level officer.
