Lucknow: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh will withdraw the Mercedes SUV from Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and former CM Mulayam Singh Yadav. According to reports, the government is now preparing to take back their expensive Mercedes SUV after the vacant building of the luxurious bungalow and Lohia Trust office allotted to the SP leader. According to sources in the Estate Department, the Mercedes car given to Mulayam Singh Yadav has suffered some technical fault and requires Rs 26 lakh for its repair. The department said, 'Our budget cannot allocate such a high price for repairs, so we will give Mulayam Singh some other suitable car or maybe Prado car.' SP leaders have termed it another attack on party leaders by the BJP government in the state. A SP leader said, 'The government can spend crores of rupees in publicity and advertising, but cannot give 26 lakh rupees for the repair of the car. This proves that the BJP is doing politics of revenge. Mulayam Singh and his son Akhilesh Yadav had to vacate the bungalows allotted as former CMs following the Supreme Court order. In the same month, the Yogi government of the state had also vacated the Lohia Trust office on the direction of the apex court. The Lohia Trust had sought time to vacate the bungalow a few months earlier. Let us tell you that SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav is the chairman of this trust and Shivpal Yadav is the secretary.
