UP: Yogi government to bring ordinance regarding registration of religious places

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is going to hold an important meeting in the state regarding registration of religious places. This meeting is scheduled to take place at 6:30 pm today. During the meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath will see the presentation of religious place registration and regulation ordinance 2020.

It is being told that the Additional Chief Secretary has to make a presentation of Religious Places Registration and Regulation Ordinance 2020. This meeting is going to be held at the Chief Minister's residence at 5 Kalidas Marg, where this presentation will be given. However, in this presentation, guidelines for the operation and maintenance of all religious places of the state will be discussed. The UP government is trying to set rules and regulations for the operation of temples, mosques and other religious places. The work of making guidelines in the same direction is going on.

Recent Cabinet meeting, the proposal for the formation of Directorate was approved. Now the government is preparing to bring an ordinance for registration and regulation of religious places. It was already being said that the Yogi government could soon bring a law for registration and regulation of all religious places in the state. For this, the laws and proposals of other states are being studied.
