Lucknow: The body of a youth, a resident of Chandauki in the Munshiganj police station area in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, has been recovered from near a pond on the Bhusiyawan-Shahgarh road. The young man's hands and feet were tied. After getting information from the villagers, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The police have registered a case of murder on the complaint of the deceased's brother. On Monday morning, villagers spotted the body of a young man near a pond on the side of the road leading to Shahgarh. There was also a bike lying some distance away. After getting information from the villagers, the police reached the spot and searched him to identify the deceased, when the Aadhaar card and marriage card were found in his pocket. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Singh alias Rohit, son of Nand Kumar Singh, a resident of Chandoki in the Munshiganj Kotwali area. The family alleged that Vijay was murdered. On the complaint of the youth's elder brother Nagendra Singh, the police registered a case of murder against unknown persons. The youth's brother Nagendra Singh has informed that the girl is getting married on February 22 in the house. Vijay was living with his wife Ruchi and four-year-old son at his sister's place in Rae Bareli and had opened a coaching center there. Vijay came home only on Saturday. Vijay Singh left home at 1 pm on Sunday to distribute invitation cards and take Rs 80,000 new currency. At around 7 pm, Vijay's sister got a call from his number. The caller stating his name as Alok Mishra said that Vijay is sitting in front of Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and is in no condition to go home. Brother Nagendra was informed about this by his sister. After this, the relatives tried to find Vijay, but could not find him. The news of Vijay's dead body was received on Monday morning. Now the police have started investigating the matter.
